Meir Innovation Center
The Innovation Center at Meir Medical Center was established in 2020 with the purpose of leading the promotion and assimilation of impactful innovative solutions that will provide first and foremost humane and quality medicine. Our mission is to reveal the challenges, needs and deep understandings of what is really needed in the medical world to change the face of medicine.
The Innovation Center focuses on the development of technological, engineering and process innovation, while instilling a culture of innovation and business acceleration between entrepreneurs within the organization and the ecosystem in Israel and around the world.
Since its inception, the center has diligently operated to promote internal organizational entrepreneurship by finding clinical ideas within the hospital and developing them. We work together with start-ups from the Israeli Eco-system to bring technologies from the outside and integrate them into the hospital and solving complex day to day challenges. In addition, the center seeks government budgets from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science and Innovation in order to support and promote innovative projects originating in the hospital. All this while positioning the Innovation Center as a groundbreaking center with multiple industry connections.

Clalit Innovation Network
Clalit's innovation network includes twelve innovation centers, spread in our hospitals and the community. Each of these innovation centers has a unique purpose and characteristic, which is derived from its unique population, its geographical location, and the centers of excellence in the hospital or district, among other factors.
The challenges and areas of practice of the centers are based on real-life needs that clinicians, therapists, and other employees encounter every day.
Clalit's innovation centers share their accumulated knowledge and projects, whether they are cross-organizational or cross-clinical.
